1. Shandur Polo Fest: Cultural Special is an annual event that takes place in the Shandur Pass, located in the northern areas of Pakistan. The festival is a celebration of the unique cultural heritage of the region, where the game of polo is played on the world’s highest polo ground, at an altitude of over 12,000 feet. The festival attracts thousands of visitors from around the world who come to witness the thrilling matches and immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural atmosphere. Shandur Polo Fest: Cultural Special is a true representation of the rich history and traditions of the region, and it is no wonder that it has become one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.

“The game of kings & king of games played on the roof of the world” The game of Polo is the national game of tribes who inhabited Chitral and Gilgit. A type of free style polo was patronized by the British authorities and they built some superb polo grounds in different parts of northern Pakistan. The polo ground at Shandur Pass (3700m) is one of them. In the month of July a competition arranged between the top polo teams of the area. You can experience the event yourselves and share the thrill once you watch this fabulous competition.

Day 01:        Drive from Islamabad to Peshawar. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. PM. City tour of Peshawar. Overnight in Peshawar. (No meals).

Day 02:        Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Fly from Peshawar to Chitral. Arrive in Chitral and scenic drive by jeep to Bumboret en route visiting Rambur valley. Overnight in Bamboret. (No meals)

Day 03:        Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Mastuj en route visit Chitral town. Overnight in Mastuj. (Breakfast only).

Day 04:        After breakfast drive to Shandur. Arrive in Shandur and overnight in Tents. Overnight in Shandur. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner).

Day 05:        After breakfast full day at Shandur. Watch Shandur Polo Festival.  Overnight in Tents. Overnight in Shandur. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner).

Day 06:        After breakfast drive to Chitral.  Arrive and transfer to hotel.  Overnight in Chitral. (Breakfast only).

Day 07:        After breakfast transfer to Chitral airport for flight to Peshawar. Arrival in Peshawar and drop to Islamabad. (Breakfast only).
